About
Bio
While the world is sleeping, Amenaboze is probably in the back of a big black truck giving directions to the kind of trouble most people would send someone else to handle. She is grit and glamour personified, with a voice that is as emotionally intense as it is commanding.
Her music blends mainstream pop structure with hip-hop cadence, synth-driven production, and guitar-infused textures, creating anthem-forward records charged with melodic sorrow, psychological tension, and sharp self-awareness. Her work lives in paradox: glamour and damage, devotion and defiance, sensuality and control.
Through her writing, Amenaboze examines objectification, trauma, power exchange, and queer longing through the lens of what she calls the natural angel and the nurtured sinner, the transformation from innocence to corruption that unfolds through desire, power, and experience. She stays inside that tension, turning emotional complexity into sound, image, and authorship.
Through controlled visual world-building and a commanding presence, Amenaboze holds intensity without surrendering control. Vulnerability and dominance coexist across her work, shaping an artistic identity that is forceful, self-possessed, and defiant of expectation. Born and raised in the South Bronx, she remains unconventionally raw. Playful and chilling in equal measure, she is truly a force to be reckoned with.
The World
If you are reading this, you are already a member of the movement. This is simply a re-membrance. Desire, grief, vanity, and self-possession do not cancel each other out. Softness and control can live in the same body. Do not simplify yourself. Recognize your own complexity and wear it like it was always yours.
